Writing on Yoga, Reiki & Life in general…in truth…its ALL Yoga.

***Update 7/2016

I have had this blog for years as “Notes from the Mat” and decided I needed to update it and change the name.  This was inspired by coming to recognize the essence of my writing is on chakras, energy and whatever “flows” and comes through.   During a training for Reiki at my studio I was describing Reiki and said just “be the rain” let the Reiki energy flow.   Since then it has become a mantra for our Reiki Practitioners…  So this site will include the usual style of writing and just “being the rain”.

Allow your practice to be the antidote to a fast paced world…
Namaste ~ Kerry

This website was made specifically for National Poetry Day 2016, and now the competition winners have been judged and posted, it will no longer be in use.

I am therefore writing to each follower, including you, to let you know that my main website will continue to have poems and poetry news posted, and if you’d like to follow that one instead, its address is:
